Studies have shown that having a pet in our life may have a calming effect, reduce stress and control anxiety. Children that grow up with pets are less likely to get sick.
So let’s take care of our furry friends by feeding them well and taking them out for plenty of exercise.
HEALTHY DOG COOKIES.
Cook 1 whole chicken in 10 cups of water over low heat. Let slow cook until meat falls off of bones.
Add 2 cups of brown rice, 2 cups whole oatmeal, 2 large peeled and diced sweet potatoes, 4 cans of sardines, 2 cups peanut butter, 2 cups blueberries, 1 large can of pumpkin.
Continue to cook on low for 30 minutes.
Take potato masher and mash all of the ingredients together.
Place spoonfuls on baking sheet covered in wax paper. You could also use your hands and form them into balls.
Place in freezer.
When frozen, remove and place in plastic freezer bags.
Keep frozen until ready to use.
My dogs love them frozen.
I will make them different sizes to match the size of the dog.
